Beautiful mountain getaway! Sandbrook Lodge, nestled in the breathtaking mountain town of Lake Placid is an incredible place to stay! The three-story townhouse is filled with 4 beautiful bedrooms with the most comfortable beds, 4 bathrooms, and a lounge/bar area. We took full advantage of that! Waking up with the babbling brook, picturesque views, and State of the art kitchen with self-closing drawers is just one of the perks of Sandbrook Lodge, or as we refer to it as SBL. The owners take such fastidious care in ensuring that we had absolutely everything that we could ever need and want. We enjoyed the cozy fireplace while watching a movie in the evenings, and having an open floor plan on the main floor was ideal for our little girls to play safely while I could keep an eye on them, and cook over the incredibly clean and beautiful new gas range. Peace, ambiance, and comfort are just a few words to describe our stay. The proximity to downtown Lake Placid and Saranac Lake was an added bonus. If you’re someone who relies on reviews as I do, rest assured that you found your new vacation spot! We cannot recommend this place enough! Our only regret was not having the opportunity to stay longer!

Wonderful Stay! We had a wonderful stay in this home. We loved all of the amenities at the Whiteface Club including the restaurant. The owner was available to answer all of our questions and made check-in easy. Their home was extremely clean and comfortable. Everything was perfect.

Perfect retreat! Everything was exactly as advertised – cozy, in a beautiful setting with everything we needed. Mark was very helpful. We loved the beach area, restaurant, trails, etc.

What are your office hours?
Our office is open from 8:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. six days a week, Sundays by appointment, and available to handle issues 24/7.
Where and when do I check-in the day of my arrival?
Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. unless we have approved an earlier check-in time. Please stop by our office to pick up your key and complimentary welcome tote. If you plan to arrive after 5:00 p.m., kindly let us know and we will make arrangements with you for key pickup. Engel & Volkers is conveniently located at 2284 Saranac Avenue, Lake Placid, NY 12946.
When is departure time?
The check-out time is 10:00 a.m., sharp. If possible, we will grant late check-out requests on the day of departure. Please call us at least 48 hours in advance if you wish to extend your check-out. Please note that late check-outs are not always available due to reservation turnovers.
Is there a cleaning fee?
Yes, there is a one-time cleaning fee that applies to every rental. This fee is based on the number of bedrooms, bathrooms, and overall size of the property. If you’d like additional housekeeping during your stay, please call us to book a mid-stay clean.
Are linens and towels included?
Yes, all of our vacation rental properties include linens and towels at the property for your use.
Are paper products, soaps and other household supplies included?
Our vacation rentals are furnished with a start-up supply of paper and soap products. This includes paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing soap, garbage bags, a clean sponge, and laundry soap. We also have a basic supply of spices, cooking oil, and cooking spray. Depending on how long your stay is and your level of usage, you may need to purchase more of these items at any of the local grocery stores.
Are washers & dryers available?
Yes, there is a washer and dryer available.
Are pets permitted?
No.
Is smoking allowed in my rental property?
No, smoking is strictly prohibited in any of our vacation properties.
Is there air-conditioning in my rental property?
There is air conditioning in the main LR. The average daily high temperature tends to hover around 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit during the summer months.
