This private and totally renovated year-round home is located on the Stoney Creek Pond system with lake and mountain views. Custom design and finishes throughout. The main floor has an open floor plan including a living room with a gas fireplace, work-ready office completely furnished for those who need to knock out a little work while away from home that overlooks the pond and mountains, chef’s kitchen, master bedroom, guest bedroom, and a screened-in porch that overlooks the water as well. The lower level walkout has 2 bedrooms, a full bathroom, a gym, and a huge bonus/ game room that includes a pool table and a bar with a tap for your favorite beverage. A paddler’s paradise with a shoreline that is natural and abundant with wildlife, there are eagles nesting and a dock to launch one of our two provided kayaks or paddle-boards, or your own canoe. The landscape is spectacular with perennial gardens, an outdoor fire pit, an outdoor fireplace, and a meandering walkway to the waterfront.

What a fantastic cabin! It has everything you need for a great stay! The kitchen is extremely well stocked! We appreciated the board games and easy access to the pond for kayaking. The pond is really beautiful, and you can spend hours on it. The best part was how responsive Rachel was, which made us feel welcome and right at home. I highly recommend this rental for a great family get together!

We had a wonderful stay in your beautiful home! In addition to the obvious big stuff (comfy beds, kayaks, paddle boards, amazing pool table, hot tub, perfect porch, beautiful views of the pond, etc.), we truly appreciated the thoughtful small details that made your home welcoming: the s’mores set ups and treats upon arrival, the good books, games, and puzzles on the shelves, the hot tub towels, the binoculars, the amazingly complete set of spices and kitchen gadgets, and the blazingly fast internet as we had several people working remotely, and taking and teaching classes in between our hikes and paddles. It was awesome! Sometimes rentals can be bare, lacking small but useful items. Yours is the opposite! We were sad to leave and hope to come back again soon.

This house was everything it listed and more! Four generations together for a mountain adventure. There was something for everyone, space to gather, space to relax and enjoy some quiet time. Perfect location for visiting local attractions (The Wild Center is a must-see!!), hiking, fishing, kayaking, antiquing, waterfall hunting, and much, much more. Great space with flexibility for a family. We used this place for a family Thanksgiving getaway, and it was ideal for our needs. With three levels it offered plenty of versatile space that allowed for both family connection but also privacy. The property itself is immaculately maintained with new appliances throughout. What are your office hours?
We work from home, so essentially, we’re always available for a call as we’re not local! We do have a local caretaker that’s available if needed. We ask that you only reach out for emergencies after 9pm and before 8am.
Where and when do I check-in the day of my arrival?
We offer self-check-in at 4:00pm. We’ll send you your door code at Noon the day of check-in. If possible, we can accommodate early check-in requests. Please reach out at least 48 hours in advance if you wish to arrive early. Please note that early check-ins are not always available due to reservation turnovers.
When is departure time?
The check-out time is 10:00 am sharp. If possible, we can accommodate late check-out requests. Please reach out with your request at least 48 hours in advance if you wish to extend your check-out. Please note that late check-outs are not always available due to reservation turnovers.
Is there a cleaning fee?
Yes, there is a one-time cleaning fee that applies to every rental. This fee is based on the number of bedrooms, bathrooms, and overall size of the property. If you’d like additional housekeeping during your stay, please reach out to book a mid-stay clean.
Are linens and towels included?
Yes, all our vacation rental properties include linens and towels at the property for your use.
Are paper products, soaps and other household supplies included?
Our vacation rentals are furnished with a start-up supply of paper and soap products. This includes paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing soap, a small bar soap, garbage bags, a clean sponge, and laundry detergent. We also have a basic supply of spices, cooking oil, and cooking spray. Depending on how long your stay is and your level of usage, you may need to purchase more of these items at any of the local grocery stores. And please share if we’re running low on any spices or oils so we can be sure to have some for future guests.
Are washers & dryers available?
Yes, there is a washer and dryer available.
Are pets permitted?
NO PETS ALLOWED – no exceptions, sorry Fido must stay home. Host is allergic to animals!
Is smoking allowed in my rental property?
No, smoking is strictly prohibited in any of our vacation properties. If you choose to smoke outside, please dispose of all cigarette butts in the trash and not on the ground.
