Relaxing and well-designed retreat! My family and I enjoyed a very relaxing stay at this nearly on the waterfront retreat. The kitchen and living area are thoughtfully designed and the fun basement was a hit with my kids of many ages. The owners included many special touches that made us feel right at home. Walking to the marina and beachfront each day was the true highlight. The views and setting are a stunning backdrop for a relaxing retreat. Lake Placid gets an A in my book for Covid-friendly policies. They are being cautious and even this safety-focused family felt at ease (which is a tall order!).

Wonderful Stay! We had a wonderful stay in this home. We loved all of the amenities at the Whiteface Club including the restaurant. The owner was available to answer all of our questions and made check-in easy. Their home was extremely clean and comfortable. Everything was perfect.

What are your office hours?
Our office is open from 8:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. six days a week, Sundays by appointment, and available to handle issues 24/7.
Where and when do I check-in the day of my arrival?
Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. unless we have approved an earlier check-in time. Please stop by our office to pick up your key and complimentary welcome tote. If you plan to arrive after 5:00 p.m., kindly let us know and we will make arrangements with you for key pickup. Engel & Volkers is conveniently located at 2284 Saranac Avenue, Lake Placid, NY 12946.
When is departure time?
The check-out time is 10:00 a.m., sharp. If possible, we will grant late check-out requests on the day of departure. Please call us at least 48 hours in advance if you wish to extend your check-out. Please note that late check-outs are not always available due to reservation turnovers.
Is there a cleaning fee?
Yes, there is a one-time cleaning fee that applies to every rental. This fee is based on the number of bedrooms, bathrooms, and overall size of the property. If you’d like additional housekeeping during your stay, please call us to book a mid-stay clean.
Are linens and towels included?
Yes, all of our vacation rental properties include linens and towels at the property for your use.
Are paper products, soaps and other household supplies included?
Our vacation rentals are furnished with a start-up supply of paper and soap products. This includes paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing soap, garbage bags, a clean sponge, and laundry soap. We also have a basic supply of spices, cooking oil, and cooking spray. Depending on how long your stay is and your level of usage, you may need to purchase more of these items at any of the local grocery stores.
Are washers & dryers available?
Yes, there is a washer and dryer available.
Are pets permitted?
No.
Is smoking allowed in my rental property?
No, smoking is strictly prohibited in any of our vacation properties.
Is there air-conditioning in my rental property?
There is air conditioning in the main LR. The average daily high temperature tends to hover around 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit during the summer months.
