Beautiful mountain getaway!
Sandbrook Lodge, nestled in the breathtaking mountain town of Lake Placid is an incredible place to stay! The three-story townhouse is filled with 4 beautiful bedrooms with the most comfortable beds, 4 bathrooms, and a lounge/bar area. We took full advantage of that! Waking up with the babbling brook, picturesque views, and State of the art kitchen with self-closing drawers is just one of the perks of Sandbrook Lodge, or as we refer to it as SBL. The owners take such fastidious care in ensuring that we had absolutely everything that we could ever need and want. We enjoyed the cozy fireplace while watching a movie in the evenings, and having an open floor plan on the main floor was ideal for our little girls to play safely while I could keep an eye on them, and cook over the incredibly clean and beautiful new gas range. Peace, ambiance, and comfort are just a few words to describe our stay. The proximity to downtown Lake Placid and Saranac Lake was an added bonus. If you’re someone who relies on reviews as I do, rest assured that you found your new vacation spot! We cannot recommend this place enough! Our only regret was not having the opportunity to stay longer!
